While the affirmations are almost made by Kamal Haasan that Lyca Productions has shown ‘Green Signal’ to this long pending magnum opus. The actor during an interaction with a leading Tamil magazine had uttered that the production house has come forward to revive project and it might involve a long phase of pre-production works.

If everything goes well, the project will take off by next year and during this interim, some inside reports claim that Kamal Haasan will be using the same old portions in this movie and will not go for reshooting. It seems that the plot of this story revolves around the transition of years in the life of Marudhanayagam, a warrior who holds a great position in the Indian history.
