While there were many buzzes around the K-town that producer Kalaipuli S Thanu is planning to release both his upcoming biggies – Kabali and Theri in a gap of short span, it proves to be an almost reality fact. According to the reports, the producer wants to make sure that both these films are released much prior to the Tamil Nadu State Government elections, which is scheduled to happen by second week of May.

At the moment, the tentative release plans of Theri falls on April 14, for the festive occasion of Tamil New Year Day followed by Superstar Rajnikanth’s Kabali on May 1. It is noteworthy that the shooting of both these films have been completed and post-production works are on full swing.
