Speculations are in rife that Kaali is the tentative title for Rajinikanth’s new movie with director Ranjith. “Though the team is yet to confirm the official title, Kaali is one among the many considerations” , says a source close the unit.

The film will have Kalaiarasan, Prakash Raj and talks are on with Radhika Apte to play the female lead while reports say that MS Baskar will also be laying an important role. Kalaipuli S Thanu will be producing this new film under V Creations and Santhosh Narayanan is the music composer.

Shooting for the film will commence from first week of August.
