Jyotika’s Kaatrin Mozhi starts rolling for October release

Actress Jyotika has started shooting for ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’, which was launched this morning (June 4) in Chennai. The entire shooting will be completed in a short span of time, say around 50 days. The film was launched this morning with Suriya switching on the camera and Sivakumar tapping the clapboard. Radha Mohan is directing this film, who had earlier teamed up with Jyotika in ‘Mozhi’. The film as known earlier is a remake of super hit Hindi movie ‘Tumhari Sulu’. Vidaarth is playing the role of Jyotika’s spouse in this film, which also features Lakshmi Manchu, M.S. Bhaskar, Manobala, Kumaravel, Mohan Raman, Uma Padmanabhan, Seema Taneja and Sindhu are a part of this star-cast.

A.H. Kaashif, nephew of A.R. Rahman is composing music for this film, which has lyrics written by Madhan Karky. Mahesh Muthuswami is handling cinematography with Kadhir as the art director.

G Dhananjayan, S Vikram Kumar and Lalitha Dhananjayan are producing this film for the banner BOFTA MEDIA WORKS INDIA PVT LTD.

The makers are planning to release the film in October 2018.
