Actor Vijay offered a sudden invitation to selected media channels to convey his regards and views upon the demonetization. Speaking on the occasion, he uttered, “I ardently welcome the great decision of Indian Government and Honourable Modi. But at the same time, it would have been appreciable if the Government was proactive so that needy and people with lower income group would have refrained from suffering. It is so much saddening to see innocent people suffer because of few bad ones. We have been coming across many such cases, where an old lady had to face deplorable situation, when the money she saved for her daughter’s marriage became invalid. Even now I am welcoming the mammoth decision of Indian Government, but it could have considered the lives of needy and poor too.”
