Is Vijay Sethupathi-Trisha’s 96 story set against ‘Night’ backdrops?

While the season is loaded with lots of action packed crime thrillers and suspense mysteries, there arrives a gold rush through Vijay Sethupathi-Trisha starrer 96. The title 96 signifies the fact that the story starts from the year 96, where a boy and girl in love from 1996 happen to reunite after years. But there is something impressive we happen to see with the film’s teaser and trailer. The major portions of the film are set against the backdrops of night time. Moreover, the title 96 now gives us an assumption if the main drama happens between night 9 p.m. to morning 6 a.m.

The film is scheduled for release in September. Cinematographer Prem Kumar is making his directorial debut with this film with Govind Vasantha composing music.
