Is this Sanjay Dutt’s salary for actor Vijay’s Thalapathy 67?

Actor Vijay is vigorously shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Varisu’ which will have a worldwide theatrical release for Pongal 2023. Meanwhile, director Lokesh Kanagaraj, basked in glory over the grand success of his magnum opus hit ‘Vikram’ is preparing for his tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 67’. The movie produced by Seven Screen Studio at a whopping budget is planned to be a Pan-Indian project. Especially with the grand success of Vikram across the North Indian territories, Lokesh Kanagaraj wants to encash this success to the next level.

Apparently, lots of big names are involved in this project, and it was said that Sanjay Dutt and Prithviraj will be playing negative characters. While Prithviraj’s inclusion is yet to be officially confirmed, it is said that Sanjay Dutt is already locked, and has been paid a whopping remuneration of Rs. 10Cr.

The shooting of this film is expected to commence by October 2022 and will be a Diwali 2023 release.
