Is it STR-Venkat Prabhu-AR Rahman combo?

STR has been offering us back to back surprises with lots of announcements involving his upcoming films. While the release of Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is scheduled for August release, the actor had his new film affirmation recently. He will be playing the lead role in Venkat Prabhu’s tentatively titled Athiradi. The film is reported to be an action thriller, which will be slightly similar to the treatment of Saroja and Goa. According to the latest reports, it looks like Venkat Prabhu wants to create a new combo of music director for this film. So if not Yuvan Shankar Raja, we will see either AR Rahman or Anirudh Ravichander composing music. Nevertheless, there hasn’t been any official word regarding the cast and crew.
