Is Gautham Karthik a part of Naadaga Medai?

Lots of fascinating news has been happening over the upcoming film of Karthick Naren titled Naadaga Medai. The movie marks the third outing of Karthik Naren after his tremendous debut directorial Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru and yet to release Naragasooran. The latter movie is on the final stage of post production works, which will be winding up shortly in time. The movie features Arvind Swamy, Sundeep Kishan, Indrajith, Aathmika and Shriya Saran in lead roles. Meanwhile, director had officially announced his next film titled Naadaga Medai.  There were some sources mentioning that Kalidas Jayaram has been approached to play the lead role. But currently it is Gautham Karthik who is hitting headlines for the same reason.  It is not yet confirmed whether Kalidas or Gautham Karthik would be getting on board for the film.
