While the shoot resumed post-Lockdown, it had a slightest issue of Ajith Kumar getting injured. This has created a hearsay stating that the filming might get postponed and so will the release.

However, according to the industry sources, Ajith Kumar has decided to wrap up the entire shoot by end of January 2021 without any break. Since, the plans involving the abroad schedules have been shifted within India itself. So, there wouldn’t be any major change of plans in the shooting. If everything goes well as heard through this buzz, Valimai will be a summer 2021 release.
