“I intentionally avoided joining protest at Marina” – STR
STR aka Silambarasan was one among the earliest film personalities to come out and protest upon the Jallikattu issue. He managed to bring out youngsters in many parts of the state with silent protest for 10 minutes outside their venues, office premises and houses. The actor is showing his protest for the issue outside his house with his fans gathered over there. During this occasion while interacting with some of the media channels, he said, “I intentionally avoided joining the protest at Marina beach. Over there, hundreds and thousands of youngsters have been protesting without food, sleep and even with the barrier of cold weather. If I make my way over there, it would be a means of diverting all the attention towards me.”
