How Sivakarthikeyan saved Prabhas’ ‘Kalki 2898A.D.’ Business in TN

Filmmaker Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 A.D.’ starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan in the lead role had huge expectations, but the recently released trailer didn’t exceed the excitements. Especially, the producers are very much disappointed that none have shown interest in Tamil Nadu to release this film. Off the late, Telugu industry’s leading producer Thirupathi Prasad bought the Tamil Nadu rights for 20Cr, only to witness the disappointment as the distributors were not ready to buy the film. Later, he came up with an offer stating that he will give them the rights of his upcoming Tamil Production directed by AR Murugadoss starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role. Significantly, the distributors have agreed to release the film ‘Kalki 2898 A.D.’.
