Bejoy Nambiar hailing from Kerala has managed to carve a niche for him in Bollywood through unique pattern of filmmaking. Having been a protégé of Mani Ratnam, he has managed to win his master’s heart with the style of movies he picks and makes. Now he has acquired the Hindi remake rights of Mani Ratnam’s yesteryear hit movie ‘Agni Natchathiram’, which starred Prabhu and Karthik in lead roles.

While Bejoy has started working on the remake script with contemporary style, it was earlier cited that Prabhu’s son Vikram and Karthik’s son Gautham might be seen playing the lead roles in the Tamil-Telugu remakes of their fathers’ film. But Bejoy Nambiar has clearly stated that there is no truth about it and his version is completely different from the original.
