Exclusive – Karthi’s Vaa Vaathiyaar planned for release on this date?

Actor Karthi’s previous release ‘Meiyazhagan’ turned to be a decent grosser in the box office, and has got good reviews as well. His upcoming film ‘Vaa Vaathiyaar’ has already created good sensation, especially with the recent teaser release. The film is produced by Studio Green K.E. Gnanavel Raja and is directed by Nalan Kumaraswamy, director of Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum and Soodhu Kavvum.

It was earlier stated that the film might be getting released for the festive occasion of Pongal, but now it is said that they are eying for Feb 7th release. This is mainly due to the grand release of Ram Charan-Shankar’s Game Changer. Since, Karthi has a decent Telugu market, the production house is looking to avoid clash and get the film released on this date.
