Exclusive – Kaala 25Cr Mumbai set work in Chennai

Each and every property, even the antique wall posters from Mumbai original house and backdrops has been created at EVP Amusement Park. It seems that it is not possible for the entire of ‘Kaala’ to shoot the film in Mumbai original locations amidst the huge crowd. So they have decided to recreate the set works of same ambience over here.

It is learnt through the close sources that amount spent on erecting the Mumbai backdrops including Rajinikanth’s residence runs into monstrous figure of around 25Crores. It is also reported that every day expense for the art department is around 2-3Lacs. Rajinikanth plays a don in the film ‘Kaala’ and is directed by Pa Ranjith. The film has musical score by Santhosh Narayanan and Nana Patekar plays an important role.
