Exclusive – AR Rahman signs Vijay 61

Academy award winner AR Rahman is officially confirmed on composing music for Vijay’s upcoming film tentatively titled Vijay 61. The film is directed by Atlee and is bankrolled by Sri Thenandal Films for a whopping budget and would be produced with high extravagant values. The movie reportedly features Jyotika, Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha in female lead roles among whom Kajal Aggarwal has already confirmed her presence officially. It is noteworthy that AR Rahman would be composing music for Sri Thenandal Films’ other production ‘Sangamithra’ starring Jayam Ravi and Arya in lead roles. The film is a period war drama produced at a big budget and world renowned technicians working on this project.
