Does Vijay’s LEO come under LCU or standalone?
This has been the long unending quest among the fans as they are super-excited to know if Thalapathy 67 will come under LCU or remain as a standalone movie. In one of his earlier interviews, director Lokesh Kanagaraj stated that in case of making any LCU movies, it would be indicated beside the title itself. In case of the word ‘LCU’ missing, it would indicate a standalone movie. Significantly, LEO didn’t have any LCU tagged to the title, which makes it clear that there is no need for any rumors to be cooked up. Maybe, with the expectations of fans getting beyond the usual limits, Lokesh Kanagaraj might add up a pinch of LCU impact by the film’s climax, which he would rewrite later if actor Vijay is comfortable with it.
As of now, LEO is a standalone movie, which is reportedly based on the famous International movie ‘The History of Violence’.
