Director Vijay in between his busy schedule of giving the final touches to his Family entertainer “Saivam” found enough time to get a suitable name for Luthfudeen son of veteran actor Nasser, who is making his acting debut in “Saivam”. After contemplating various names the director on mutual consultation with the parents of Guddu, as he is fondly called in the sets arrived upon a consensus. The name Basha was the ultimate choice. Powerful name it is and the director has got many words to share about the young debutant.
‘I had always been an ardent admirer of Nasser sir, and most of my movies will have a character sketched for him exclusively, even in “Saivam” he plays the pivotal role of a grand father who holds the film together. We were looking out for a rank new comer to play his teen age grand son and when we came across Luthfudeen we decided he was the boy we were looking out for. His first frame reminded me of Nasser sir in “Nayagan”, apart from his looks i am very impressed with the discipline and dignity he had possessed. I will give credit to his upcoming !!!’ sums up the director with a pride.
