Directors turning lyricists are not some thing new,but normally this happens only to the respective movies they direct. But Vignesh director of ‘Poda podi’ has penned lyrics for the popular hit song from the film “Vanakkam Chennai’ ‘ Engadi Porantha Engadi Valarntha ‘.

Vignesh says that “I thank my best friend and music director Anirudh and the director Krithikaa Udhayanithi for this oppurtunity”. Vignesh beams on his new found popularity of being a lyric writer. Vignesh is now in London for story discussion and his next project as a director will start by september. Vignesh had already written three songs for his ‘Poda Podi ‘ and an other film ‘Virattu’
