Shankar directorial magnum opus flick “I” is gearing up for it’s release worldwide on eve of Pongal 2015. The distribution team was in discussion to finalize the exact day as loads of movie too gearing up for releasing this Pongal 2015. We hear that “I” team has finalized the date of release to be January 9th as P.C.Sree Ram the cinematographer of the movie conveys through social media today “9th January 2015 we will all be blessed with “I”. A red letter day for Indian cinema”. Let’s wait for official word from production house too at the earliest.

“I” Movie features Vikram and Amy Jackson leading an ensemble cast which include Suresh Gopi, Upen Patel, Santhanam and Ramkumar Ganesan portraying pivotal roles. The soundtrack album and background score was composed by A. R. Rahman.

Meanwhile Yennai Arindhaal which was said to be released on January 9th through overseas distributor has been re-informed about change in release date to January 14th. The other movie that are in the race includes Komban, Aambala.
