Director Mysskin’s emotional wish for Marijuana

Tamil movie Marijuana is produced on behalf of 3rd Eye Creations by M. D. Vijay and directed by M. D. Anand. It stars ‘Attu’ hero Rishi Rithvik, as the hero And Asha, acts as the heroine.

The event of music release and trailer release was conducted at the Kamarajar Arangam. While addressing the gathering at the event, director Mysskin shared: ‘The directors Bhagyaraj and R K Selvamani both have been great inspirations for me! The director M D Anand just told that I am the inspiration for him! That is why I accepted this invitation! This function almost seems to be the function of celebrating the movie’s success. I whole-heartedly wish that movies like Marijuana produced at a lower budget but with good quality.”

Director Bhagyaraj observed: ‘When enquired about the meaning of the title, they explained that it is the term for the narcotic called ganja in Tamil! I recall that even I have taken ganja once – 45 years ago – with my friends. I saw my friend totally out of self-control after taking ganja! Immediately, I took the resolution that this kind of life would not help in achieving anything and I gave this habit up! As this movie explains the effects of taking ganja, this would be a good eye-opener and a moral for the youngsters.”
