It is worth mentioning that Rajinikanth was the first one to see Mohanlal’s Drishyam was an aspiration to remake it in Tamil, but finally called off due to some reasons. Similarly, he happened to see Mohanlal’s Oppam at his residence, where the special screening had happened.

Soon after watching the film, Rajinikanth personally took his time to appreciate Mohanlal for his outstanding performance. The film ‘Oppam’ is directed by Priyadarshan, where Mohanlal plays the role of a blind person held as prime suspect for a murder. Maybe, Rajinikanth might pick up this project as quickie if he doesn’t have anything on his wish list after Dhanush-Ranjith and 2.0 project.
