Dhanush’s Wunderbar films who have been delivering continuous hits is ready to produce yet another prestigious project in Tamil. To be mentioned that their latest release ‘Naanum Rowdy Thaan’ did very good business across the world and their upcoming film Thangamagan is all set to hit screens on Dec 18. Coming to the new project, it will be directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, wife of Tamil speaking Bollywood director Nitesh Tiwari.

Ashwini Iyer made her debut in film making with Swara bhaskar starrer ‘Nil Battey Sannata’. The film had created waves at the coveted international film festivals including Silk Road film festival in China and the London Film Festival. As per the sources, Dhanush’s project with Ashwini Iyer will be the remake of ‘NilBattey Sannata’. Actress Amla Paul will be playing the lead role in this project and actress Revathi will be seen in an important role. Actor Dhanush says, this project will be a pride to Tamil cinema.
