Dhanush assures Maari 2 as Christmas treat
The sequel to Dhanush’s most celebrated Maari, Maari-2, is all set to hit the theatres on 21st December, which comes as an official word through the close sources. With the shoot being completed, the Post-production works are in full swing.
Dhanush, Tovino Thomas, Krishna, Sai Pallavi, Vidya Pradeep, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Robot Shankar and Kalloori Vino have performed in prominent roles. A song was the final shoot for the film, which has a notable point that it is choreographed by none other than Prabhu Deva.
Balaji Mohan, who wielded megaphone for the first part is repeating the same act here with Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the music. It marks his collaboration with Dhanush after a long gap. Dhanush has on hand, other films like Vada Chennai, Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta, and another untitled film – with Nagarjuna and Aditi Rao Hydari in prominent roles, which he directs and plays the lead role. Sri Thenandal Films is bankrolling this film.
