Cheran has been a very touching director throughout his filmography and has produced several of his own and other films. Autograph, Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamai Irukkirathu, Muran, JK Enum Nanbanin Vazhkai and the Telugu Yemito Ee Maaya are the films he produced under his production banner Dream Theatres Studio.

Now Cheran has also started his own music company named “Dream Sounds”. Cheran has been a very different kind of filmmaker who seeks the freedom for his work. This may mean that the filmmaker will be up for complete freedom in his movies.
