Chandramukhi 2 to go on floors from 2018?

There are lots of surprises waiting to shoot up the gold rush moments to next level now. While Tamil cinema is pretty much loaded with the supernatural thrillers, here comes a special hint upon the ‘Mother of all Supernatural Thrillers’. Yup! If what we hear from the close sources is believed to be true, Sivaji Productions is all set to produce the sequel to 2005 blockbuster hit ‘Chandramukhi’, which happens to be the longest run in the theatres of Tamil film history.

Now Raghava Lawrence has been approached to do the sequel, which would be directed by P Vasu. Furthermore reports clarify that the sequel wouldn’t be the exact remake of P Vasu’s Kannada sequel to Chandramukhi titled ‘Aaptha Rakshaka’ that was later remade in Telugu as ‘Nagavalli’ featuring the clippings of Rajinikanth too from first part.
