“I cannot zero in genre for Suriya 35” – Vignesh Shivan. Filmmaker Vignesh Shivan is on cloud nine as he finally gets a bigger breakthrough in his career directing Suriya 35. The young filmmaker made his debut directorial with the film ‘Poda Podi’, which in spite of good reviews didn’t manage to make a bigger spell following which his last year release ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ became a massive hit.

Now after considering several filmmakers, Vignesh Shivan has been the winner of season as he gets the chance to direct Suriya. When asked about the film’s plot or theme, Vignesh opens up saying, “It’s too early to speak upon it. Well, I cannot zone up the film into particular genre, for it has diversified elements like NRD – Fun, Emotions, Sentiments, Action and Romance.”
