Buzz – After H Vinoth, is it STR 48 in troubled waters of Kamal Haasan’s Raj Kamal Film International?

A few days ago, Studioflicks broke the news stating that the project involving Kamal Haasan and director H Vinoth is getting dropped. Significantly, the news was officially confirmed through the lineup of RKFI. Currently, there is yet another similar issue surfacing for Kamal Haasan’s RKFI, where Silambarasan’s STR 48 titled ‘Blood and War’ seems to be going through some crisis.

Here goes the buzz…

Initially, the story was created for Superstar Rajinikanth, where he plays the dual role. The film was narrated by ‘Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithal’ fame Desingh Periyasamy. Soon after the film’s release, he mentioned he is a huge fan of Superstar Rajinikanth and would be narrating a script. It all happened and Rajinikanth was supposed to do this movie for Lyca Productions, which didn’t happen due to some reasons.

Later, director approached Raj Kamal Film International for the same script, and it was okayed with Silambarasan roped in to play the lead role. According to the sources, Silambarasan TR was convinced by the production house that budget and grandeur of the film will be as same as it was designed for Rajinikanth, which made STR dedicate a whole year for preparation.

However, on the spur of moment, there seems to have been some changes in the plan, where RKFI is insisting Desingh Periyasamy to rework the script and confine the grandeur due to financial limitations. This in turn has deeply upset Silambarasan, who agreed to do this film for the grandeur as he felt that it would be the right project to elevate his star status.

Well, the makers are now unveiling a special announcement for the birthday of Silambarasan TR. Let us hope the project takes off smoothly without any hassles as it happened with H Vinoth-RKFI project.
