Arvind Swamy’s cop thriller hunt kick-starts

With voguish grey shaded roles in Thani Oruvan and Bogan, Arvind Swamy has almost completed shooting for his conman thriller ‘Sathuranga Vettai 2’. Meanwhile, he has started his new project tentatively titled ‘Vanangamudi’ from today, which was launched with a formal pooja. The film marks the collaboration of Arvind Swamy and filmmaker Selva after 20 years, where they delivered a commendable entertainer titled ‘Pudhayal’.

The film features Ritika Singh in female lead role and other heroines includes Nandita playing a cop role and Chandini as a journalist. Harish Uthaman and Thambi Ramaiah will be seen in important roles. D Imman (Music), Gokul (Cinematography) and Antony (Editing) are the others in the technical crew. First leg of shoot will happen in Chennai followed by Kodaikanal and Tuticorin, where Arvind Swamy plays a tough cop on the hunt of mystery.
