The Hindi distribution rights of high budget film “I” has been bagged by Mumbai’s No 1 distributor Anil Thadani. “I” has been directed by Shankar and stars Vikram and Amy Jackson as the lead pair. AR Rahman is the music director and the album is a chart-buster already. Aascar Ravichandran has produced the film. I’s audio was launched in a grand manner in Chennai by Arnold schwarzenegger. Producer Aascar Ravichandran is well know for promoting the films in a grand manner, he is the one who brought Jackie chan for Dasavatharam audio release function. Hindi audio launch of the film is expected to happen very soon. Everybody’s eye is now on the chief guest for Hindi audio release.

Distributor Anil Thadani is the husband of actress Raveena Tandon. His AA Films distributed several Hindi blockbusters including many of Karan Johar’s movies. He saw some “I” footage and felt it has potential to do well in the Northern markets. AA Films also will be distributing Hindi, Tamil and Telugu version of “I” outside of south India. Hope “I” joins the list of successful movies Roja, Hindustani and Robot which were earlier distributed by AA Films. With the distribution rights sold, we can expect an official confirmation on the releasing date very soon.
