Ajmal’s next challenging stroke in Nungambakkam

Actor Ajmal proved his outstanding performance in the debut film ‘Anjathey’. His role was grey shaded and then he made his experiment with a comedy thriller titled ‘Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru’. Aftermath, he wasn’t seen in many movies. He was approached to play the negative role in Jayam Ravi’s Thani Oruvan, which he refused. But then, he made a decent comeback with the film ‘Iravukku Aayiram Kangal’ starring Arulnithi in lead role. The actor had completed shooting for ‘Swathi Kolai Vazhakku’, which is based on the shocking incident of Swathi murder that happened in Nungambakkam before a year. In accordance to high protests from the family members of deceased Swathi and few more groups, the film’s title has been rechristened as ‘Nungambakkam’. Ayra and Mano from Koothu Pattarai school of acting have played the lead roles of Swathi and Ram Kumar. Ajmal will be playing the role of an investigation officer.

The theatrical trailer has always made it clear that there is a huge scope for Ajmal to perform in this film.
