Actor Karthi teams up with ’96’ movie director Prem Kumar 

Actor Karthi has been scaling decent heights, escalating his filmography by choosing good scripts. He has achieved a tremendous success rate with back-to-back hits in the past one year with Ponniyin Selvan 1 and Ponniyin Selvan 2, Sardar and Viruman.

Currently, the actor is shooting for Raj Murugan’s Japan and Nalan Kumarasamy’s tentatively titled ‘Vaa Vaathiyar’. During this juncture, there is an important buzz confirming that he will be directed by Prem Kumar of ’96’ and ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom’. Govind Vasantha is composing music and P.C. Sriram is handling cinematography. Arvind Swamy is doing an important role in this movie.

The film is produced by Karthi’s brother Suriya of 2D Entertainment.
