Actor Aari’s next titled Ellam Mela Irukkaravan Pathuppan

Following his movie ‘Nagesh Thiraiarangam’ released last year, the announcement involving his new film has been announced, which is titled ‘Ellam Mela Irukkaravan Pathuppan’. It belongs to the genre of scientific film – a film on space with aliens.

U. Kaviraj is the director who makes his debut. The film is produced by Rowther films which is back into film production after a long gap.

Actor Aari explained about the film – “Ellam Mela Irukkaravan Pathuppan belongs to the genre of science fiction space film with aliens and spaceships. As can be noted, in the Tamil film history, apart from the film ‘Tik Tik Tik’, there have not been many ventures in this genre – maybe because the audience can as well watch an English film for that price ticket! We are all aware those films are made at budgets of over Rs. 500 Crores.- which may not be afforded by us!’

‘Other actors in the film include Rajendran, Dinesh, Dheena, Bhagavathy Perumal, etc. Subhashree, from Sri Lanka, will be making her debut as the heroine with Aari in this film. Indeed, I was slightly apprehensive about the film on hearing the story – but the director explained that the script has been ‘Indianised’! The film is in the final stages of shooting and a teaser is expected to be released in 2 weeks…”
