A R Rahman has been roped in to score the music for Suriya’s “24”. After Venkat Prabhu’s MASSS, Suriya is doing a film with Director Vikram Kumar whose notable previous ventures are ‘Yaavarum Nalam’ and Telugu film ‘Manam’. Catherine Tresa is playing the heroine role, who was last seen in Karthi’s Madras. The film is produced by Suriya’s own production house 2D Entertainment. Film has camera by PS Vinod and production design by Rajeevan. “24” is touted to be an action adventure film with all the commercial elements, including romance, sentiments, humour and action.

Oscar winning composer A R Rahman joins hands with Suriya for the third time, after the earlier chart-busters ‘Sillunu Oru Kadhal’ and ‘Aayutha Ezhuthu’. A R Rahman itself confirmed this news in a recent interview to “BBC Asian Network”. This is going to be a sheer treat to the music lovers. 2014 had A R Rahman’s 4 albums Kochadaiiyaan, Kaaviya Thalaivan, Lingaa and I. All four were super-hit albums. Hopefully 2015 will be another musical hit year for A R Rahman and his fans.
