Shankar’s Ai starring Vikram, Amy Jackson and Upen Patel is a romantic-action thriller produced by Aascar Ravichandran’s Aascar Films. The story is written by writers duo SuBha and Shankar. PC Sreeram is the cinematographer and Anthony is the editor. Shankar has kept the story under wraps; however, buzz is that a huge chunk of the film is set in China and Vikram will be sporting multiple looks. For Amy Jackson, this is her biggest project till date and the entire team had been working for almost two years on this project

Oscar hero A.R.Rahman is behind the music for Ai. The super hit combo of AR Rahman and Shankar have given a number of hit songs. Young sensation Anirudh has sung a song in the album. Audio release could be expected very soon as the full album is ready. ARR confirmed this in his social networking stating “Master for ‘I’ delivered finally. All of us are looking forward to your reactions to the songs soon :-)”. Lets wait to listen ARR’s magical songs.
