A.R Murugadoss congratulates Varun, but no credits in Sarkar

As the dawn had its realms, many media and fans have been inquisitively glued upon the court hearing involving the ‘Sarkar’ issue. Finally, it has been settled out of the court with Writers Union and Association headed by K Bhagyaraj giving an amicable decision.

In the official press release and video, A.R Murugadoss has mentioned saying, “What happens to the hero, when his vote is bogusly cast by some miscreants and how he strikes back bringing a revolution inside the country. This was a concept that occurred in my mind and started developing the script, which is now ready for release as Sarkar. Apparently, K Bhagyaraj sir called me up and requested me saying that an assistant director had registered a similar idea through the title ‘Sengol’ before 10 years itself. I appreciate and congratulate Varun for thinking of such an exceptional idea even before us. Other than this in regards to the rumours, I would like to make it clear that Sarkar script and screenplay is written completely by me and hope you all enjoy the film for Diwali.”
