8-minute fight sequence in Chiranjeevi’s film at a cost of Rs. 54 Crores
Sye Ra Narasimha Reddy is the latest film starring Chiranjeevi being made in Tamil and Telugu. Having acted in 150 films already, this will be the 141st film of the hugely popular actor Chiranjeevi. The story is based on the real-life freedom fighter Uyyala Narasimha Reddy’s biography. The freedom fighter Narasimha Reddy is considered to be the 1st to revolt against the British entry and rule and took action to remove the British in a period much earlier than what is deemed to be the 1st independence revolt, ‘the Sepoy mutiny’. Actor Chiranjeevi performs in the role of the freedom fighter Narasimha Reddy. Nayanthara performs as the heroine. Interesting note is that Amitabh Bachan and Vijay Sethupathy are also performing prominent roles. Surrender is the director and the movie is progressing briskly.
Actor Chiranjeevi’s son, another hugely popular actor, Ram Charan is the producer of the film at a cost of Rs. 200 Crores. The fight sequences have been shot on gigantic and expensive scales.
