“My dream of becoming a cinematographer was just a bud; it blossomed only because of my Family. My father is a school teacher and I emerged from a normal middle-class family but still my parents and my wife acted as the backbone in my success career!” says Producer -Cinematographer PG Muthaiah of Raja Mandhiri, the upcoming Tamil movie. The talented camera-person was a graduate in Vis Com from SRM College. After assisting five years for various cinematographers like Raja Rathinam, Ravi Varman and SR Kathir, a gateway was opened for Muthaiah in the form of ‘POO’ film which acclaimed huge positive reviews. Following that, he had exposed his skills in different genres such as Kanden Kadhalai, Saguni, Settai, Aval Peyar Tamilarasi and Sandi Veeran. And now the talented PGM as he is fondly called terms his up coming ‘Raja Manthiri’ as one of his best.

Be it the script of Raja Manthiri, “The amazing performance of the lead cast Kalai and Shalin zoya, Scintillating music by Justin Prabhakar, and excellent narration of the script by debutante director Usha Krishna are all the integral parts of the huge expectations this film had created. The script had all the elements of being an out and out family entertainer and that gave me the strong confidence to come back in production too, yes I am a co producer of this film too. I am sure the audience will love the film Raja Mandhiri because it will stand totally different from other village based scripts. It is a perfect carving for people in all age groups,” said PG Muthaiah producer cum cameraman of Raja Manthiri.
