Top 5 Telugu Movies of the Year 2016

2016 has been an unlimited year of surprise for Telugu audiences, where the films with very least production values and yet made a stupendous collection in box office. Let us have a glimpse on this ratings based on critics choice and coincidentally, it had spanned a remarkable figure in box office too.

P.S : List is not in the order of 1 to 5, all movies deserves the top place.

Pelli Choopulu:

A black horse winner in box office that stunned not just Tollywood, but ones beyond the boundaries. A very low budget film, but it managed to prove the stunning results in box office. A feel good movie laced with good and decent contents tailored for youngsters and family audiences.

Kshanam:

This pulled up a heavy string of surprises, where it happens to be the first ever low budget film produced by PVP Cinemas, but it landed upon huge profit figures. A stunning script and fantastic edge-seated thriller that kept us hooked up from beginning till end.

Janatha Garage:

Although a commercial entertainer with usual pattern of heroism blend with mass and social elements, the characterizations, racy narration and songs made it more appealing, especially for the screen presence of Mohanlal and Junior NTR.

Nenu Shailaja:

Yet another cool breezy feel-good love story, which doesn’t go the routine Telugu filmmaking pattern, but with a voguish effect with beautiful presentation. The screen presence of Ram Pothineni and Keerthy Suresh was incredibly at the best.

Ekkadaki Pothavu Chinnudu:

A resplendent film that had a limited quotient of budget but managed to peak up with a sumptuous collection. Nikhil Siddarth delivered a neat and naturalistic performance and others in the cast including Hebah Patel and Nandita Swetha too made a decorous show.
