Ponniyin Selvan 2 – 5 things with (Ultimate Twist) to expect as curious fans

Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan 1 has been bound to an inevitable success in the box office. The film with an ensemble star-cast has been drawing more crowds and repeat audiences to the theaters consistently. This has even made some of the movies to postpone the release to next month. Apparently, the fans are already excited to see what could be the biggest moments in the second part, Ponniyin Selvan 2 hitting screens in summer 2023.

Well, according to the book, what we can currently expect are as follows.

1. Oomai Rani (again played by Aishwarya Rai) saves Ponniyin Selvan. Poonguzhali takes him to Nagapattinam and keeps him veiled from the sight of Pandyas. He gets treatment at Buddhist Monastery.
2. The heart-broken Vanathi, who isn’t aware about the survival of her beau Ponniyin Selvan leaves to the same place to become a hermit, where she gets shocked to see him alive.
3. Oomai Rani comes to the palace of Sundara Cholan. The combination scenes with Nandini will be a spark in the theaters (Both played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan).
4. The arrival of Adita Karikalan to kill Nandini will furthermore cause more chaos.
5. Periya Pazhuvettaiyar comes to know about the true colour of Nandini and sets off to kill her. Ultimately, the climax in the book could be little mysterious involving Adita Karikalan, but then Mani Ratnam could have made some changes for our surprise.
6. More than all, the twist in the tale is with Senthan Amudhan.
