It keeps happening and Kollywood has always witnessed the changes over the time period. In 90s, we saw our heroes indulged in emotional love later followed by the start up of 2000s, where they turned suddenly into action heroes followed by a little psychotic phase. Apparently, they became so much social heroes saving the lives of people and country. Now it looks like, they are getting into the Jungle zone now.

This isn’t something called newfangled genre, but Tamil cinema has seen it over the ages where our heroes like MGR, Sivaji Ganesan, Superstar Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. But in 2017, the trend seems to be getting much bigger. Whether it is all because of the Record-Breaking business of ‘The Jungle Book’ and ‘Tarzan’, which has made it much more bigger aspiration for these actors.

Arya’s first ever forest adventure movie, which is produced at a whopping budget by RB Choudary and Jiiva under the banner of Super Good Films. This film is extensively shot across 100acres of forest land near Madurai followed by hilly regions of Kodaikanal and Thailand. In fact, the final leg of shoot, especially climax shot amidst 40 elephants has been raising everyone’s eyebrows.

This isn’t something new for Jayam Ravi as he has already done this over his ertswhle movie ‘Peranmai’. But that wasn’t something to do with wildlife or forest life, but somewhere on the rescue mission of saving country’s reputation. Vana Magan directed by Vijay is definitely going to be something more on the lines of flora and fauna life. .

This would be a forest based adventure film, where it is based on jungle and it’s life will be shot in Thailand, Magnolia, Thajikisthan and other parts of the world.

The untitled film is directed by Arumuga Kumar, a debut filmmaker, who earlier associated with Balaji Dharanitharan has written a forest based adventure story laced with some fantasy elements. It will have one more leading hero alongside Gautham Karthik. It is noteworthy that the ‘Kadal’ actor has already completed shooting for ‘Indrajith’, which is too set against the forest backdrops.
