Jason Sanjay’s strict condition on not using surname

The recent announcement on actor Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay embarking on his directorial journey has created a strong buzz. The yet-to-be-titled movie features Sundeep Kishen in the lead role, and it’s an out-and-out action thriller. The announcement turned to be a greater enthralment for the Vijay’s fans, but at the same time slightly disappointed as they didn’t find the surname VIJAY beside Sanjay. Well, it is said that it was a firm decision made by Jason Sanjay himself as he didn’t want to get recognised as the actor’s son, but should gain attention only through his directorial artistry.

The shooting of this film is expected to go on floors by January 2025, and release is expected in July 2025.
