Bigg Boss Season 8 is set to commence this Sunday on Vijay TV. Kamal Haasan has announced that he will not be hosting this season due to commitments in cinema, and Vijay Sethupathi will take over as the host in his place. Contestants have been selected from various fields, including cinema, television, web series, and modelling.

Among those confirmed to enter the Bigg Boss house this season are actor Ranjith, television actresses Pavithra Janani, Anshitha, and Darsha Gupta, as well as actor Arnav and actress Aishwarya, as buzzed on many media channels.

It is now said that the new host of the show, actor Vijay Sethupathi will be paid a whopping remuneration of Rs. 18Cr for this season.
