Hay Jude is Shyamaprasad directorial movie who is known for his artistic appeal to his movies in malayalam industry. Hey jude is one such kind and lets see what he offers in his style of making.
A story of a person’s gifted ability and abnormal life is being realized by their family members when he meets another person of similar like nature! Whether their togetherness last long as a happy couple is all about heyjude!
Movie begins by showing nivin’s mathematical special ability and his interest towards aquatic animals. When he explains anything with numbers and connect it to different subject, its amazing to know yet that also heads to comedy when he explains the same for a day-to-day activities of life! His perfection in life, time table of daily routines, inability to understand emotions all shown in a realistic way!
After a brief introduction and exploration of his behavior, Nivin meets Trisha in Goa. Her free-spirited character, music interest leads to her world. With her father as psychiatrist, she helps Nivin, trying to change his perspective towards life in all possible way but ends up in getting attracted to him to an extent! At one break-up point we get to know the real character of her and why she is attracted to him!
Both the lead cast is picture perfect for the characterization they have in the film. Nivin’s innocence, Trisha’s caring nature, Sidhique and Vijay Menon’s typical neighbor people mindset all lived their role!
Music and visuals adds more value to the movie. BGM is a kind like continuous instrumental track where songs are melody and western numbers. Goa scenic and pleasant houses are added cool flavors.
Director has shown all these not in a hurried way but takes time and shown within two family circle in a slow manner along with comic elements! A slow narrative is not at downside unless you are really stick to the movie! Feel good moments and lots of positivity are highlights.
Film which says finally is not about abnormal people but the way we used to think normal is abnormal. Nivin explains this in a self-video scene when he tries to understand people’s emotions!
