Many might assume that making an adult comedy doesn’t involve a tough process. But in reality, that’s the most complicated stuff to handle or conceptualize. It’s almost like walking on needle between thin line of vagueness, hilarious and too offensive. An auteur distinctively should keep the cognizance on this aspect and it’s a tough responsibility indeed. Meet Mr. Santhosh, the handsome director in town now as he interacts with Studio Flicks.

“BECOMING A FILMMAKER WAS MY CHILDHOOD DREAM”

A much alike journey of Gautham Vasudev Menon that involved transformation of an engineering graduate into a filmmaker… So we have this auteur with Studio Flicks as his much celebrated ‘Whatsapp Swamiji’ based titled Hara Hara Mahadevaki gets ready for release today.

“It was not something that I had a desire to become filmmaker overnight. This has been my childhood dream, ever since I was at eighth standard. This inmost desire to become a director was prevailing from that long time, which has landed me up here now,” elatedly briefs up Santhosh.

AN UNFORGETTABLE MOMENT OVER A NIGHT TIME THAT INSPIRED SCRIPT OF HARA HARA MAHADEVAKI

Behind every creation, there is a creation and beneath every creation, there is an inspiration. So we bounded to ask him in relevance to Hara Hara Mahadevaki.

Well, we expected something very least with few words. But he sprouted out an unexpected twist saying that a real life incident in his life propelled him to write the script. He recollects a night following the very next day where he had got an appointment from producer to narrate a story. Being an avid and vivid personality, he had a horror script to narrate, only to get a shocking ‘Conditions Apply’ during the last minute. To hear the producer claim, “Please don’t come if you have a horror script.”

A kind of disappointment and he just took a leisure ride with his friend. On his way back home on bike, something really unexpected happened. “Halfway from that place, we realized that the bike, we have been travelling so far belongs to someone. Actually, two bikes of same model and colour were parked alongside. By mistake, we took a wrong bike as the key clicked. While getting back to the place, the cops and crowds had already thronged up there. For some time, it was a shocking experience. But after few days, discussing the same situation with friends as a recollection transited the serious memories into fun-filled ones. So this instantly gave a rise of inspiration to develop the gist of HHM,” explains Santhosh.

A SIMPLE REASON BEHIND GAUTHAM KARTHIK AND NIKKI GALRANI INTO THIS FILM…

While penning a script or drafting the sketch of characterizations, it becomes more complicated for a writer or auteur, not to keep anyone in mind. A short and crisp question on how made him sign up Gautham Karthik and Nikki Galrani for this film. He replies, “Whom should I think would be more appropriate than a handsome actor like Gautham Karthik. When it comes to Nikki Galrani, by the very first few minutes of narration, I was pretty confident that she is into the film, because, she was so much gleeful listening to the story.”
