Woman of three dimensions

Woman of three dimensions

Television shows are increasingly becoming a major door step for talented artiste to enter the big screen. There is no gender bias on this. If it was predominantly male actors who were entering until  now here is an valuable addition from the heroines side too. Jaqlene Prakash who had made a remarkable presence in some reality shows based on Dance is all set to make her debut in ‘Unakkenna Venum Sollu’ earlier titled Daisy.

I was searching for an artiste who could match three different dimensions. A bubbly young girl, a young woman in a depressive pregnant state and a worried mother torn between her two kids one who is alive and the other one who is no more but exists in the horizon to reach back to her parents. This was a very tough role by any means and kudos to Jaqlene for living up to my expectations said Director Srinath Ramalingam with the eyes that are brightened following the stupendous success of the teaser released by his idol Gautham Vasu Dev Menon I still cant believe it.
My debut film ‘Unakkena Venum Sollu’ is on the verge of releasing. We were all huddled together while we were doing this film hoping for the best to happen in terms of a big release. As we near the big day of ours stepping into the wagon for promotions , i recall two interesting happenings during the shoot. Even days after the shoot was over i was under an illusive spell of a child wailing far away which was the core element of the movie.Initially i thought it could be true but was scared enough to share it with some one as  i was always the one who was making fun on the artistes when they speak to the media over their horrified experiences after working in a horror film. My sixth sense prevailed and then i realized that it could be the after effect of the character i played, some one who is directly affected by the ghost.
What was more astonishing was i began to sense a attitude of mother hood after playing this role of being a mother of two kids.My heart was leaning more towards kids and in fact i become more  attached to my toddler niece, such was the intensity of my role and the script.
My expertise in  contemporary dancing  helps me to receive , understand and perform with ease. I’m confident of sustaining in this industry and succeeding too thanks to the new wave thought process of the younger Directors who no more sees the heroines as mere dancing dolls. The motivation level of our team rose to greater heights once we starting receiving accolades for the teaser.I thank my co artists,Technicians, Director Srinath Ramalingam , Producer Shan, and Mahesh of Auraa Cinemas for giving accredit ion to this movie of substance and content ‘ concludes  Jaqlene with a convinced pronoun cation of Tamil .
