Was Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe meant for this Mass Hero actually?
The superstar Rajinikanth’s 168th film, which is directed by Siruthai Siva, is being titled ‘Annaatthe’. The film’s producers announced it yesterday with a motion poster.
As well-known, Siruthai Siva has worked with actor Ajith for four continuous films ‘Veeram’, ‘Vedalam’, ‘Vivegam’, and ‘Viswasam’. Now, the director Siruthai Siva has joined hands with Rajinikanth for the first time in ‘Annaatthe’. Information is gathered now that according to an online portal is that Siva is directing Rajinikanth’s ‘Annaatthe’ with the story which he wrote keeping Ajith in mind.
It is mentioned that Siruthai Siva had started writing the story of ‘Annaatthe’ after his film ‘Vedalam’ and narrated the script to Ajith. However, it seems that the actor refused to work on ‘Annaatthe’ and instead picked Siva’s another story which was then made into ‘Vivegam’.
Siva then decided to cast another top hero for ‘Annaatthe’. He narrated the script to Rajinikanth and it worked for the actor. Now, the film is progressing steadily and is being produced by Sun Pictures. It is scheduled to release on Diwali 2020.
The script of ‘Annaatthe’ revolves around the village life, and it also seems that it even has political elements in it.
Rajinikanth will be donning a rough rural look for the movie, and we will be witnessing a vintage Rajinikanth in the film. Further, a Bollywood actor is said to be playing the villain in the plot. However, the film’s team has kept the name of the actor a secret to surprise fans.
Apart from Rajinikanth, the film also features Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Kushboo, Prakash Raj, Sathish, Soori, Vela Ramamoorthy, George Maryan, and others. The music of the film is composed by D Imman.
