“No other actor than Rajinikanth would have done it” – Sasikumar

The Petta audio launch is happening amidst huge fanfare in Chennai. While everyone who have worked alongside Rajinikanth in the movie are sharing their working experience, director-actor Sasikumar is no exception. Speaking on the occasion, he said, “I had worked with Rajinikanth sir for 20 days and by the end, it was like why the days passed so fast. There was a particular scene, where it was raining heavily around 2.30AM. No other actor than Rajinikanth sir would have done it. It was a small dancing sequence and Rajini sir just came there and performed it.”

He continued to add saying, “Both of us have discussed lots of things. He would share his journey across the years. One thing that I realized during that time is that his success isn’t something that was obtained easily, but with so many challenges and hurdles.”

One more humorous fact about Rajinikanth that Sasikumar said was, “He is so much down-to-earth that he would say that his dancing skills are mediocre. But he would say it just to encourage us. But Rajinikanth sir, it’s your style that we have been following across years. Sir, you must never give up acting and you must continue to entertain us.”
