Sarkar grossed 125Cr collection in Worldwide Box Office

Vijay starrer Sarkar, directed by A.R Murugadoss was released on the festive occasion of Diwali, which has now grossed an incredulous box office figure. According to the trade sources, the film has now made a whopping collection of 125Cr. In fact, this happens to be the first ever Tamil movie to reach 100-Cr box office collection in a span of just 2 days. In such a manner, the film has broken the box office records of Baahubali.

Furthermore, the reports claim that Chennai had a Day 1 collection of 2.37Cr followed by Day 2 – 2.32Cr and the daily figure keeps scaling more than 2-Cr. It is cited that Vijay’s erstwhile movies like Thuppakki, Kaththi, Bairavaa, Theri and Mersal have already crossed 10O-Cr club, but this happens to be the first ever movie to join this league in a short span of time. While the film had a big opening across the global box office, the protests and confrontations by certain political groups have escalated the film’s collection.
