The nightmarish island experience of Atharvaa Murali and Megha Akash
Weather conditions are always unpredictable when it comes to any nature oriented backdrops, especially forest bounded islands. Such happens to be the situation with Atharvaa Murali-Megha Akash starrer Boomerang, where the entire team got stranded in an Island due to wild cyclone. Speaking about this, director Kannan says that it’s still an unforgettable experience and will remain the same forever. “We travelled towards a remote island near Havelock Islands for four days shoot. Usually, the ferry service would happen for once in two days. We had set up the tents to take shelter. But on an unexpected turn, the weather conditions became adverse with unbearable cyclonic winds and downpour. We decided to complete the shooting at the earliest on next day, but it was so difficult as the forest regions were damped and slushy that actors felt difficult to perform. Nevertheless, Brindha Master made her best attempts to choreograph the song and complete it,” says director Kannan.
